Got the Storsegel adapter and base ring for the leaf lamp printed in the wood pla so it's time to put the base together! First attached the adapter to the Storsegel light fixture and legs using 3x 8-32 1/14” machine screws. Then the smaller Lush Leaf Lamp ring (called the top in the Lush Leaf models) screws into the adapter with 6x 6-48 ½” machine screws. They are a right fit in the small holes there but I wanted to ensure it was snug.

Finally figured out printing with the hardened nozzle and wood pla. Turns out the new nozzle was ever so slightly longer so I needed to do a bit of a Z-Offset Debating trying to sand and stain the pieces, too. We'll see. Won't be able to finish the project until later in July though as the fam is taking off for a long vacation on Monday.

So after a good deal of trial and error for the Storsegel Adapter design, I think I have something that's gonna work. Been printing my beta in just brown PLA before I dive into the Wood PLA. The tricky party was definitely the adapter. I had to make a countersink in the adapter so that the screws that hook into the Storsegel socket/legs would go flush or below the top of the adapter, giving room for the bones of the lamp to snap in. Also had to make a narrower hole in the middle where the Storse...

So my big current project is a lamp based on this Lush Leaf Lamp model that my wife came across via like TikTok or something. I grabbed some wood pla (and a hardened nozzle) but I'm still in the design phase. I'm creating an adapter to make this work with an IKEA Storsegel table lamp. So first I need a way to attach the thing to the Storsegel bulb holder/wire stuff. I found this Storsegel Lamp Base model and took the base fastener from that to modify it so that it can then attach to part of the ...

My son's cub scout den last year was doing a thing with marbles and stuff, and one of the requirements was making a marble maze.
