Leaf Lamp Project (More Progress)
So after a good deal of trial and error for the Storsegel Adapter design, I think I have something that's gonna work. Been printing my beta in just brown PLA before I dive into the Wood PLA.

The tricky party was definitely the adapter. I had to make a countersink in the adapter so that the screws that hook into the Storsegel socket/legs would go flush or below the top of the adapter, giving room for the "bones" of the lamp to snap in. Also had to make a narrower hole in the middle where the Storsegel could pop through but the little whatchamacallit that screws down on to the socket can hold it in place.
Additionally, I also added some very tiny screw holes for the Leaf Lamp base (actually "top" in the original models) to be secured in to the adapter.

So the part that the bottom of the actual leaf lamp snaps in to was slightly modified from the original so that it has a recessed area that fits into the adapter, and then the tiny screw holes for attaching it.

I'm going to print the following in Wood PLA:
- Adapter
- Bottom/Top Leaf Lamp rings
- Leaf Lamp "bones"
And then the leaves will be printed in the first laters green PLA, and then the top laters just for the "frame" of the leaves in the brown Wood PLA. Might experiment though with a translucent PLA for the first layers, not sure.
Once I have it fully printed and assembled I'll post an update as well as a bill of materials.
